The VDF delivers master data and corporate actions data in a structured, encoded form, as well as valuation prices on nearly 6 million financial instruments. With over 70 message types and around 1,500 data fields, the VDF offers an extraordinary depth of data. Events and data can be traced back up to ten years.
The VDF provides the basis for Straight Through Processing and is available worldwide as a global product.
VDF data formats: ISO 15022
Since 2004, the Valordata Feed (VDF) also delivers corporate actions as SWIFT MT 564 messages in ISO 15022 format. The ISO 15022 standard established in the international financial business defines a uniform format for message types and data fields. The VDF data range of the MT 564 message in ISO 15022 format has been progressively expanded during a pilot operation lasting until June 2004. In an initial phase, cash and stock earnings messages were available, followed by capital transactions in a second phase. Starting September 2004, all corporate actions and distribution messages from VDF will be available in the ISO 15022 format as a live service.
Corporate action messages in ISO 15022 format can be delivered via existing FTP connections.
